Joe is an all around great guy! I worked with him for several years at Lewis & Clark College--then, after losing touch for several years, ran into him here at the Ronald McDonald House, where he and his family stayed temporarily while his youngest child was in the hospital. While here, he appeared on a television show and made a radio commercial on our behalf; he was also the guest speaker at our annual auction. Unlike some of the more timid guests who volunteer their stories at various events, Joe has an incredible command of his material and makes a poignant impression on his audience—without notes! He's an amazing and inspiring speaker!
